John Anthony MappSMITHAmanda and Jamie were deeply moved by the very many messages of sympathy, appreciation, kindness and support received by so many, including from family, neighbours, friends, customers, partners and staff of Laser Transport, both past and present, following the death of our beloved father and grandfather. John was not only devoted to his family, the Laser family, Harvey Grammer School, but also to Folkstone town, enriching people's lives he met and engaged with along the way. A true gentleman who will be greatly missed by all. Jamie and I are sorry that we did not get a chance to speak with everybody at the funeral service, or reception, but we want all to know how we both received great comfort from the support and kindness extended. Thank you to Ann Arkley and colleagues at Chittendens Funeral Services for the guidance and care given. Donations have been gratefully received for Pilgrims Hospice. Thank you to all. Rest in peace Daddy, reunited at last with your dear 'Annie.'
